LuxRed Grupo Consultor Lux S.A. is an affiliate of the Lux Consulting Croup, focusing on web and internet innovations. At present, LuxRed offers eCommerce and eLearning services.

The LuxRed office is located in beautiful Costa Rica. The time zone is UTC/GMT -6 hours, with no daylight savings time. Therefore, we in Costa Rica are only ever one or two hours behind our colleagues in DC. We provide 24 hour access between the two offices via our live video link, so you can visit either office to meet the entire team.

Ruairķ Macdonald, CEO & Executive Director of eCommerce
Mr. Macdonald graduated from the Law School at Queens University Belfast and has studied telecommunications at the George Washington University, Washington, D.C. As part of the Lux Consulting Group in the US, he worked as a consultant to the World Bank, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and numerous small businesses. In 2005, he moved to Costa Rica to lead the LuxRed team.
Dr. Jerald L. Feinstein, Executive Director of eLearning
In addition to his work with LuxRed, Dr. Feinstein is a Professor in the Information Systems and Technology Management Department at the George Washington University. A recognized author and educator, he is a former Visiting Fellow at Harvard University. He has also lectured at Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, Oxford University, University of Virginia, and American University. From Washington DC, he has delivered lectures over video conference to students in IBMEC, Brazil and the University of Chile.
Leonard Boyd, Executive Director of Marketing and Sales in North America
Mr. Boyd is the President and CEO of the Lux Consulting Group in the USA.
Hazel Barahona, Executive Director of Marketing and Sales in Central America
In addition to her work with LuxRed, Ms. Barahona is partner and marketing advisor of Aseprensa, Public Relations company with services in Central America. Ms. Barahona graduated from the Communications School at Costa Rica University and has a Masters of Business Administration degree with Marketing emphasis from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica. She has worked as journalist for La Nacion, the leading newspaper in Costa Rica, and as an advisor on public relations to international health firms as GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Schering AG. |
